  • Do you have you any smoking rooms?
    In July 2007 the no smoking ban was introduced, The Mardonia adopted as no smoking policy throughout the premises. This is for the comfort of all guests staying with us.

    Have you got any parking on site?
    Unfortunately as like many hotels in Blackpool we do not have any parking on site, however there is a private car park in our street. The cost is from £4.00 per day and £8.00 for 48 hours; costs are reduced for longer stays.

    How far are you from The Blackpool Tower/ Pleasure Beach?
    We are ideally situated for both of these attractions, we are situated just behind the promenade hotel s in-between Central and South Piers, and therefore it is a 10-15minutes walk to the Blackpool Tower and 10-15 minutes’ walk to the Pleasure Beach.

    Do you have a babysitting service?
    The hotel does not have any babysitting service; we will not take any responsibility for any children left unattended.

    What is the latest time I can come back to the hotel at night?
    All guests are provided with front door keys, this means they can come and go as they please without any restrictions.


    Do you have a bar?
    Yes we are fully licensed premises, we offer  lager and cider and carry a range of spirits and bottled beers and alcopops.

    What time can I check in/check out
    Check in is from 3pm, check out is at 10.30am, however these times are not set in stone, if you require an earlier check in please contact us prior to arrival.

    My transport home does not leave till later in the evening, can I keep my room?
    If the room is available on the date required for a small fee you can request a late check out.

    Can we bring food and drink back to our hotel room?
    As we are a licensed premises we do not allow our guests to bring their own alcohol, with regard to takeaway foods we do not like guests to eat any kind of takeaway in the bedrooms, as this can cause stains to the bedding and flooring and also the smell is not nice for other guests. Guests are welcome to use our dining room and we will provide cutlery and plates up to 10 pm.

    Do you accept same sex group bookings?
    On occasions we do accept well behaved same sexed groups; however this is by prior arrangement and subject to a £20pp security bond. We never take same sexed bookings when we have families and couples staying with us.

    How far are you from the promenade/ beach?
    It is less than a minutes’ walk from the hotel to the promenade/beach.

    Do you accept pets?
    Unfortunately we do not accept any pets.

    What time is breakfast in the morning?
    Our dining room is open for breakfast between 08.45 & 09.45 am, breakfast may be available earlier by prior arrangement. *times may vary depending on numbers dining.

    How far is the hotel from North train station?
    The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from north station and a 10 minute taxi ride, cost is between £6.00- £8.00 depending on the amount of guests and luggage.

    Can you provide any discount tickets for any of the attractions in Blackpool?
    Unfortunately we can not provide any discount tickets, however we do have leaflets in the hotel that have discount for some of the attractions.

    Do you provide towels in the hotel?
    Yes we do provide towels in the rooms, however these are not for the use at the beach or the Sandcastle Water Park.

    Do you have disabled rooms?
    The hotel does not have any ground floor rooms, although we do have many people stay with us that have mobility issues. It is not possible for a wheelchair to be used along the corridors. Please contact us directly with your exact requirements and we will help if we can.

    Do you have ironing facilities?
    We will be happy to provide you with an iron/ironing board, please ask if needed. Please do not bring your own iron as any accidents to the carpets or furniture will be chargeable.

    We are celebrating a birthday/special event
    We can arrange a surprise, maybe flowers and champagne; we have past catered for parties and supplied a buffet. Perhaps you had something else in mind? Give us a ring or drop us an email and we will see what we can arrange for you.
